09_Gpf Deggo Thilene Group's story

This group is composed of eight women living in the same village. They have been member of a women's association once it was launched in June 2019 and are united by family ties and a strong solidarity spirit. They mainly work as vendors.

Ms. Aida, the one raising her hand in the photo is the group's representative. Aida is 39 years old, married and the mother of two daughters and one son ranging from 8 to 13 years of age. She works growing rice. She would like to use this finding to grow rice during this agricultural season. Aida will lease a field of one hectare [2.5 acres], buy fertilizers and seeds, and pay for labor and other related expenses. Her benefits will be used to take care of her family need, prepare for the next planting season and bolster her savings.
