A loan helped a woman owned minority business recover from Covid 19 shutdown.

Priscilla's story

I am a first generation US born daughter of my Fijian Indian Parents. They came to the US in the 1970's for better opportunities. They always taught me to work hard and stay humble. I learned about the transportation business from my dad. Who was working for all kinds of different companies driving.
I was laid off from my job when the 2008 recession happened and could not afford my mortgage. My dad told me to be my own boss. So I decided to open my own Limousine business. I used my skills from my advertising classes and started promoting my business. Little by little I gained clientele. My husband and I are now working really hard to keep our business running. With a little more support we can keep up with demands and give back to our community by creating more jobs for drivers that need it as well.

This loan is special because:

It helps this minority-owned business to overcome challenges posed by the COVID 19 crisis.
