Tafitasoa's story

Tafitasoa is twenty-nine years old. She lives with her partner and has two sons who are six and three years old. The family lives in a rural village. Her partner works as a pushcart puller. He does this in the city, which is twenty kilometers from their home.

Tafitasoa works raising animals and farming. The family still lives in a house with a dirt floor. As a result, Tafitasoa is determined to expand her endeavors to increase profits and be able to save money. She wants to build a permanent home.

With her husband's agreement, she joined Vahatra to take out loans. With the profits from previous loans, she was able to save money. Recently, she was able to buy furniture for the house. She needs this loan to buy two pigs, 540 kg of brain and sixty ducks to fatten. She sells her products at the local market. Her goal is to build up her savings to be able to construct a house.
