Zg_Kandialang Soce Group's story

This group of five women is part of a woman's group initiated in May 2001. They earn their livings mainly selling a variety of products.

Aissatou who is on the right in the photo with her hand raised is the group representative. She is 64 years old, married and the mother of three children, two of whom are girls. She has been operating a business selling a variety of local products for a number of years.

With her new loan she plans to increase the quantity of merchandise she is stocking up on. She will sell the products at home and at the market.

Her earnings will allow her to help her husband take care of the day-to-day expanses and the schooling and health care of her daughter.
