A loan helped purchase blouses, trousers, and pajamas.

Julia Monserrate's story

Sra. Julia is 48 years old and married with children. Her family is very close, so sharing is more sacred than family love. Julia and her family have been working together in business for some time and help each other so that they can succeed. They sell clothing such as blouses, trousers, and other types of garments. Their merchandise is sold in the city of Portoviejo. Certain areas are known for selling good quality clothing, so she goes to these places to offer goods to her customers. They are satisfied because they know the clothing they buy is of good quality.

Julia’s family started their business after she joined Fundación ESPOIR. Together with her sister-in-law, she sells merchandise and buys inventory every month. Her husband works as a bricklayer and is dedicated and responsible at home and at work. For this reason, married life has been positive. The two of them give their all in order to move forward and are extremely dedicated to their work and family.

Her greatest wish is to continue working so that she can have a home that is both loving and financially stable.
