Sorbeh 1A Group's story

Pictured here are the three members of the Sorbeh IA Group. They are small-scale businesspeople based in Makump Bana village, located about five miles from Makeni city in northern Sierra Leone. They are seeking a loan of SLL 1,200,000 each to enable them to further expand their businesses. Consequently, they will make more profit and improve on their standard of living.

The leader of this group is Musa S. B. (pictured on the left). He was born in Makump Bana village and is age 36. He is married with five children. His wife is a businesswoman and his children are attending primary schools.

For more than seven years now, Musa has been selling dishes, cottons and T-Shirts. With his share of this loan, he will buy more dishes, cottons and T-Shirts to add to his inventory.
