This loan helps Costa Rican farmers to not only purchase farm inputs, but to make capital improvements to their farms, which allows them to increase productivity levels. Improvements might include water storage and irrigation systems, greenhouses, and composting facilities. By supporting this loan, you are giving Costa Rican farmers the resources to improve agricultural practices and make their lands profitable.
