A loan helped a member to buy fabrics, dyes, and other products for her handicraft business.

Damas Emprendedoras Group's story

The group called Damas Emprendedoras was formed by friends and neighbors from the city of Villarrica. They were in search of a way to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are in the second cycle of the committee of women group.

Luisa is one of the members. She works in handicrafts. She says that the crisis that the world is experiencing because of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic has impeded her from working normally and generating the means to help her family. It has likewise caused consequences in her business.

Luisa says she needs to invest a little more capital in her business in order to start it up again, and to fulfill her obligations to the foundation that she couldn't cover during the months of quarantine when she couldn't work normally. This will allow her to restart her business.

Luisa seeks this loan to buy fabrics, dyes, and other products. This will allow her to continue with her handicrafts as she had before.
