Teddy's story

For the past fifteen years, Teddy, a married mother of four children, has dealt in cocoa farming and selling as her main source of family income.

She is requesting a loan to enable her buy more dry cocoa to sell in the next profitable season. She lives in Bundibugyo, Uganda and her main challenge is lack of needed finance to open up her own store and engage in large cocoa trading.

She has four school going-children and has to work hard to raise school fees as a single mother.
