A loan helped a member to buy seeds and fertiliser.

05-Penda Group's story

This group of women was created in September 2019. They live in the same area and share strong ties of kinship and solidarity. Their main activity is agriculture.

Penda, the group representative, is 29 years old, married, and has five children, including two daughters. She works in peanut farming.

With this loan, she wants to buy peanut seeds and bags of fertiliser for cultivation. After harvest, she is going to sell her produce at the local market for a good price in hopes of achieving a better income. The profits made will allow her to meet her family's needs and to reinforce her domestic cultivation.

In this group: Penda, Aissata, Aminata, Bineta, Metta, Mariama, Bouya, Guedado
