A loan helped a member to purchase seeds and fertilizer.

05-Bock Beug Beug Group's story

This group of women was created in July 2020. They live in the same locality and maintain strong family ties and solidarity. Their main business activity is farming.

Leye--who is the representative of the other women of the group--is 32 years old, married, and mother of 4 children, including 3 girls.

Leye works in farming.

With this loan, she plans to purchase peanut seeds and bags of fertilizer for crop growing. After the harvest, she will sell her products at the local market at a good price in the hope of earning better income.

With the profits, she plans to diversify her activity (small business) and intends to help her husband meet the family's needs (food, care, the children's schooling).

Because of restriction measures related to COVID-19, the other members of the group could not be present in the photo.

In this group: Leye, Sokhna, Fatoumata, Yama, Fatou Khady, Diarra, Awa, Diagne, Fatou, Khady, Aminata, Awa, Mbathio, Sokhna
