A loan helped to buy ice-cream and clothing.

Nataly Sirlendi's story

22-year old Nathali is separated and has a 2-year old son. They live in Jaramijo, a place with beautiful beaches and coastline, where the majority of the local people are very hardworking and earn their living from the ocean. The Covid-19 pandemic has seriously affected their livelihoods.

Nathali is a young woman who enjoys earning her own money so she and her son can get ahead. She started working when she was very young in the family business with her mother. For more than five years she has been selling clothing and also has had a ice-cream and stationery store in the house. She works in her business every day, but sales have diminished greatly due to the pandemic, and she has lost hope that they will return to what they were before.

This loan will be used to buy ice-cream and clothing. Her dream is to have her own store.
