06_Gpf Marame Keur Serigne Louga Group's story

This group is made up of 10 women who share strong bonds of solidarity and mutual aid. They live in the same neighbourhood and took the opportunity to join the female group when it was established in the area in 2019. Their primary activity is small business.
Marame, (sitting with her hand raised), is the representative of the group. She is 53, married and mother to five children who are all adults. She sells vegetables and has some experience in this business as she has been doing it for several years.
With this new loan she plans to buy some bags of cabbages, carrots, cassava and aubergines in bulk to resell individually in her neighbourhood.
With the profits, she intends to develop her business, provide for her own needs and help her children with their daily expenses.

In this group: Marame, Ndiaya, Sala, Sophie, Ndeye, Farry, Bintou, Ndeye Khady, Die, Boly
