A loan helped to buy different types of pagnes.

Habibou's story

Habibou is a mother of 3 children, 2 of whom are in school. She has been selling pagnes, a type of traditional wrap garment, and shoes around her neighborhood in the capital for 5 years. She is on her third loan cycle with microfinance institution Yikri after repaying her second loan without difficulty.

She is requesting a new loan to buy a variety of pagnes to meet her customers' demand. She will invest some of the profits in her business and save the rest for her family's wellbeing.

Habibou would like to thank Yikri and its partners for the support they give to non-bankable entrepreneurs, and she invites everyone to protect themselves and each other from Covid-19.
