'Ilaisaane's story

This is 'Ilaisaane. She is the mother of three children and the wife of a farmer. 'Ilaisaane currently runs a business of weaving with her two sisters. Together they weave taovala cloth and mats, then sell them overseas.She normally travels for a few weeks to sell her weaving, but due to the lockdown, she cannot travel overseas and therefore is selling her weaving locally. She has been running this business for ten years now, and it has made a great contribution to her family's life.

'Ilaisaane is hoping to use her loan money to buy pandanus for her weaving and to pay for her children's school fees. Her dream is for her children to have a financially secure future.
