A loan helped a member to buy thread, racks, fabric and other products.

Tujukua Group's story

The group called Tujukua is a committee that is very united, where everyone helps and works together. They have been together for many seasons, and they are women who are heads of their families that look for ways to overcome and improve the quality of their lives.

Gladys is one of the members of the committee, who works making and selling artisan crafts. She makes them herself, and it is through this work that she has helped her family and looks for ways to give them a better quality of life. She describes herself as a woman who fights to be able to overcome and to offer her loved ones all of the thing that she never had, and to ensure they never lack necessities.

She mentioned that even though her work is modest, it has helped her to get ahead. She also commented that because of the complete quarantine due to Covid-19, her sales have been affected, because she hasn't been able to work normally.

She is asking for this loan to invest it in her work and to be able to buy thread, racks, fabric and other products to be able to continue her work as she has been doing. She is thankful for the opportunity to be able to work and to improve her entrepreneurship.
