The solidarity group called "Caaguazu Poty" is composed of friends and neighbors from the city of Caaguazú who seek a way to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are in their 1st loan cycle with the Program of the Committee of Women.
Silvia is a member of this group. She produces and sells garden vegetables that she herself grows in the countryside. Silvia is a determined and enterprising person who, with much sacrifice, has managed to improve her family's life. She mentions that due to COVID 19, her production and sales have been diminished and she needs to be able to improve her efforts.
Silvia is requesting this loan so that she can refinance her debt to the Foundation, and in this form, be able to invest in her work, by injecting more capital.
Note: In the photo, only one person, Silvia, appears. But this is a group loan. It was not possible to photograph the group and avoid the gathering of people, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
