A loan helped to buy 75 sacks of peanuts and to save money to take care of her children.

Pauline's story

Pauline is the mother of 3 children, 2 of whom go to school. She has worked as a merchant for over 7 years in a local neighbourhood. She buys cereals and onions that she stores and resells at the appropriate time. She knows her business well.

She has paid back her second Kiva loan without any difficulties and she is asking for a new loan to buy 75 sacks of peanuts in order to increase her stock of goods. She wants to reinvest part of her earnings into expanding her business and to save money to take care of her children. She thanks Yikri and its partners for the support they provide to non-bankable entrepreneurs. Thanks to the Yikri loans, she manages to take care of her children. She invites people to protect themselves from the Covid-19 virus.
