A loan helped to buy supplies such as calcium, zinc, boron, etc. to improve the productivity of her coffee trees and to pay for manual labour.

Corina's story

Corina is a coffee producer in the central north of Nicaragua. She runs her small farm of 3.52 hectares, where she lives with her husband and three children. The area designated for planting and harvesting coffee is 1.4 hectares, which she runs according to the Fair Trade certification criteria and C.A.F.E. Practices.
This year she hopes to implement a nutritional improvement plan for her coffee trees.
This requested loan will allow her to buy supplies such as calcium, zinc, boron, etc. and to pay for manual labour.
With this investment, Corina will ensure an improvement in the quality and productivity of her plants.
