A loan helped to buy farm inputs such as certified seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers to improve the quality of her farm products and to increase her income.

Winrose's story

Winrose (46 years old mom of 3 pictured in her simple house) was born into a strong family which had few resources in their control. However, the challenges she went through did not affect her dream of wanting to be a successful woman. She was very keen to learn farming skills this being the only thing she inherited from her parents.

Winrose is a mixed crop and dairy farmer. Winrose dreams that through farming, she will be able to pull away from poverty and see to it that all her children successfully complete their studies. She is a visionary and is keen to ensure that she keeps progressing.

Winrose is humbly seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as certified seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers. Your loan will enable her to improve her production through the use of quality farm inputs. Through this intervention, she will be able to improve the quality of her farm products and attract more buyers, leading to more profits.

Please support her during this planting season and make her life bright!

Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, has extended its services to the remote areas in the Nyeri region of Kenya, and its staff is keen to ensure that hardworking women like Winrose benefit from loans that should enable them to purchase farming inputs.
