Oyuntsetseg's story

Oyuntsetseg is 34 years old and lives with her husband and three children in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. She and her family live together in a small house which they own. Her oldest son and daughter attend a high school.
Oyuntsetseg operates a business trading second-hand products, such as shoes, at Narantuul market, the largest and most crowded market in the city. She started her business in 2003 and has had steady growth over the years. Today, her working capital exceeds 5,000,000 tugrugs (approximately 3,590 USD) and her daily profits average between 15,000 and 20,000 tugrugs (approximately 10 to 15 USD).
Over the years, Oyuntsetseg has gained great business experience and she has used her earnings to support her family and grow her business. She is very hard-working and hopes to continue her success in the future.
Oyuntsetseg’s oldest sister is an invalid. Her sister has three children but they don’t have a house to live in. Oyuntsetseg wants to build a new house for her sister. She says, “I love my sister so much. She is a very patient person. My dream is to purchase a larger house for my sister’s family.”
Oyuntsetseg is requesting a loan to purchase construction materials to build the new house for her oldest sister.
