Tupou's story

Meet Tupou. She is a 46-year-old mother of four, and a wife of a farmer. They live at their own home.

Tupou runs a business of tapa making, where she joins a group of women in their village and together they prepare the tapas. Shown behind her in the pictures are her tapas ready to be exported overseas for marketing. She just finished preparing them with some finishing touches. Tupou has been running this business for more than ten years, and it has been her family's primary source of income. She applies for another loan to buy herself mulberry to make more tapas and earn more money.
