No, 29, is a young Khmu ethnic woman living in a small traditional house with her husband and her two children. Her son studies in secondary school in sixth grade and her daughter studies in primary school in fourth grade.
Their life is unstable because they only rely on agricultural activities, such as growing rice, corn, cassava and raising chickens. Her children are still school age; thus, she puts much effort into expanding farming production so that the children are able to attend school fully.
That's the reason that made her decide to take a loan from ACE Program to buy fertilizer for the corn and cassava field. This is her twelfth loan from ACE and she hopes that by using this loan and knowledge from the ACE training about agriculture, she could implement her business plan successfully. She dreams that her children will go to well-known colleges and then have a good job and a better life than her. In the picture, No is standing first from the right.
