Caroline is 34 years old and married with six children, who all attend school in Aber, Uganda. For 17 years now, she has been rearing pigs.
With her experience with piggery, Caroline has applied for a loan from VisionFund Uganda to buy animal feed in order to boost the growth of her pigs. With these feeds, she will have big and healthy animals and thus be able to compete better in the markets for better income.
"My dream is to become a commercial piggery farmer," she states. However, she is challenged by pests and diseases.
