Almaskhan used the money from the previous loan for its intended purpose. She is very grateful to Kiva and everyone who helped her with the financing.
She currently has four cows, 15 sheep, a horse, and a 1-hectare plot of irrigated land, where she grows clover and potatoes. Almaskhan has reached out to Bai Tushum Bank once again. She has applied for a loan of 250,000 som (KGS) to pay for the field labor as well as to purchase livestock to increase her income from breeding livestock.
Almaskhan plans to invest a part of the income generated by the loan in purchasing livestock and save the other part for building a new house for her family.
