Nasirova Burma`s Group's story

Burma, 36 is married mother of two children--a school-age daughter and a son of pre-school age. Burma and her husband own a timber processing plant. In the past, Burma's husband worked as a helper, but gradually he saved enough money to open his own business. This loan will be used to purchase roofing materials for Burma's family home.

Omurkan, 28 is married for the second time. She has two daughters from her first marriage. Her older daughter is a school student. Omurkan's husband is a construction worker. This loan will be used to repair the family's house.

Murzaim, 48 is a widow and a mother of four: three sons and one daughter. Murzaim's oldest son is a migrant worker in Russia. Her daughter is married and the two youngest children help Murzaim around the house. Murzaim tailors folk clothing and and will use this loan to purchase fabrics and other sewing materials.

Kayry, 53 is a widow and a mother of two. Together with her older son, Kayry maintains a cattle farm. She started the business with a single cow and has grown to contain a cow, a calf, two rams, and four lambs. This loan will be used to purchase animal food for the farm.
