04_Thioro Group's story

This group, created in December 2010, is composed of energetic, mutually supportive female micro-entrepreneurs whose main business is trade and livestock.
Thioro, standing at the right of the picture with her hand raised, is 58 years old, married and the mother of seven children including two boys. She is the group's representative. She has a store in her village where she sells all her merchandise.
She plans to buy food products (bags of rice, containers of oil, bags of sugar, onions, garlics, etc.) which she will then retail in her store.
With the profits she will make, she plans to diversify her business by buying sheep to fatten.
