“Suma Chuyma” is a group of 10 women who attend their meetings at the "German Busch" center and are on their second loan cycle. They came together as a group because they needed to improve and expand their business, to access a loan, and for everyone's benefit.
Rosmery M. has been married 21 years, is the mother to one sun, and has been weaving blankets by hand (macramé) for the past fifteen years. At first it was difficult but after time she honed her skills. She has plans to invest this loan in her business buying wool, producing more blankets, and involving her younger siblings in the activity so that they can learn.
