Sophea's story

Sophea, age 35, lives in a rural area located of Kampot province, Cambodia. Sophea is an experienced seller of rice and noodle and other foods in the community.

She gets up early in the morning to go to market to buy meat, vegetable and other groceries to prepare food for selling in the afternoon. She can earn a net income of $8 per day.

Due to the shortage of her finance, Sophea has applied for a loan in the amount of USD $1,500 to buy meat, vegetable, rice and others kitchen equipment to process in her food shop.

With this loan support, Sophea can increase and expend her foods for selling to earn more money to make her life more comfortable.

In the future, she aims to increase her food store and build a better small house.
