A loan helped to buy seeds and fertilizer for her crop.

Khen's story

Khen is 38 years old and an experienced farmer located in the rural area of Kampong Thom province, Cambodia. Khen spends long hours everyday to enhance her agriculture products. She manages growing and harvesting yams seasonally and sells it to the local market or local traders. Like other agriculture products, yams are usually sent to other countries to produce animal feeds and noodles for using and fulfilling customers' needs.

Because of her shortage of finances, Khen has applied for a loan in the amount of KHR 3,500,000 to buy seeds and fertilizer for her crops. With this loan support, Khen will plant yams fully on her farms by using enough seeds and fertilizer to increase her quantity of yams and her net income. Agribusiness is the main source of her profit.

In the future, Khen aims to buy land for planting another agriculture product and build a new small house.

Khen sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help support poor fellows like her.
