A loan helped to buy a heifer.

Valeria Nataly's story

Valeria is a young woman of humble origin from the community of Huaca. She lives with her parents and her sister. Valeria is one of the few women in her community who have been able to get an education. She studied agriculture, and she aspires to get her master’s degree in this field. Valeria has worked raising cattle since she was 18 years old. She could do this thanks to her parents, who gave her the support and the push necessary to develop her ranching work. Valeria wants to increase her business, so she is asking for the support of Kiva with a loan to buy a heifer. With it, she aspires to continue driving her business forward, since her goal is to have a farm with a good herd of cattle, and thus little by little make her dreams take shape.
