A loan helped to purchase merchandise.

Salwa's story

Salwa is a thirty-nine-year-old woman who lives in Saida, which is in southern Lebanon, with her four children. Salwa owns a shop that sells clothing for babies and children. She also sells accessories for babies like baby bottles, towels, bibs, and toys. She decided to open her shop because she gained experience in sales and always wanted to own a shop for her own. She requested a loan from A. Majmoua in order to purchase merchandise; especially now that summer is coming, she needs to buy clothing to match the new season. This is the first time Salwa has requested a loan. When she first started her business, she had some difficulty diversifying her merchandise. For the future, she plans to keep on improving her loan.
