A loan helped to restock her grocery store to improve sales.

Faridah's story

Faridah is a mother to school-going children. She runs a grocery store as her main source of income.

Currently, Faridah needs to add more stock to her grocery store business, like soft drinks, toiletries, foodstuffs, etc., but due to financial constraints, she is unable to do that.

Faridah has therefore applied for a loan of 2,000,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy the merchandise. She is certain that her sales will increase; hence, bringing in more income to fend for her children.

Faridah is very grateful to Kiva funders and UGAFODE for their help that will boost her business.
