Floricultura El Clavel Group's story

María is 48 years old. She is a single mother with a son. She lives with her son and siblings in an indigenous community in the municipality of La Esperanza, Intibucá.

She has been selling excellent quality potatoes for 24 years, farming on her own land. She offers the product at the local market. This is the main source of her income.

She is requesting a loan from ODEF that she will invest in the purchase of fertilizers for her land and to pay for maintenance assistance.

María is a member of the Floricultura El Clavel Group made up of three members who work in the same trade and live in the same community. The group loan is for 31,000.00 lempiras for the purchase of fertilizers and compost to grow potatoes.
