María is 44 years old. She lives in the parish of San Javier de Cachavi, located in the canton of San Lorenzo in Esmeraldas province.
María lives with her partner in a small house which they have managed to build thanks to their work and dedication.
She currently works in agriculture, growing mainly cacao. This work has allowed her to cover her basic necessities, especially family expenses.
María would like to increase her cacao crop, which is why she needs a loan to her business. She wants to grow more cacao plants on her plot in order to have more resources to improve her living conditions.
María thanks Kiva for financing her enterprise. She is very glad that there are organizations that help families who have limited resources, and above all that they have confidence in people to help them to get ahead.
