Sol Naciente De Huaytara Group's story

The “Sol Naciente de Huaytara” (Rising Sun of Huaytara) Communal Bank is starting its first loan cycle with nine members. They are from the District of Huaytara in the Department of Huancavelica. The members are engaged in different businesses such as selling groceries, cheese, food, and other products.

Such is the case of Sra. Patrocinia. She is a single mother and has four children who are in school. Patrocinia sells “mazamorra” (corn porridge). She started her business after she separated from her husband so that she could maintain her household. This loan will be invested in the purchase of sugar, milk, flour, and essences. Patrocinia dreams that her children will study to become professionals.

The members need different loan amounts such as 200 PEN, 500 PEN, and 600 PEN for a total of 3300 PEN to the entire Communal Bank.

In this group: Erika Rosario, Eugenia Graciela, Mirian, Concepcion, Ananelba, Patrocinia, Luisa Maribel, Marleni, Yanina Luz
