A loan helped a member carry out market gardening.

09_Gpf Rafeit Djiko Bokhol Group's story

Made up of ten women, this group took the opportunity to join the female promotional group started in their area in December 2015. They live in the same village. They are parents, neighbours, and share good relationships. Their principal business is market gardening. Madame Daya is their representative. She is on the right of the photo with a raised hand. She is married and the mother of four children, one girl three-years old, and three boys, twelve, nine and seven years old.

This loan will allow her to cultivate onions, tomatoes and to also trade. Thus she will buy some fertilizer, and some seeds for her market gardening. She will also buy some rice from the wholesalers in her area for resale to her loyal customers. The profits realized will be divided between the purchase of clothes for her young children and to take care of the needs of her family.

In this group: Daya, Hawa Moussa, Maimouna, Colle, Aminata, Racky Sileye, Fatimata, Awa, Djina, Rouguiyatou
