A loan helped a member to buy wool in bulk.

Sol De Luna Group's story

“Sol de Luna” communal bank, part of Agencia German Busch, includes nine members who are friends and neighbors of the area. It is run by a board of directors and Dania is the president.

Dania is 28 years old and has three children. She sells woven sweaters from home, an activity she says she learned a long time ago. She is requesting a loan to increase her capital and buy wool in bulk from wholesale sellers in La Paz. She will then make and sell her sweaters from home.

This business allows her to earn the resources she needs to financially support her family. She dreams of opening a weaving workshop and asks that you please trust her communal bank again.
