A loan helped to buy grocery goods.

Asha's story

Mrs. Asha M. lives in Sanepa, Lalitpur, Nepal. Sanepa is one of the busiest bazaars of Lalitpur and most of the residents in this region are engaged in small business.

Mrs. M. has four children, two daughters and two sons. All of her children are now studying. Mrs. M. opened a grocery shop four years ago. She sells different types of grocery items such as rice, maize, pulses (legumes), biscuits and noodles in her shop. Her children also help her in her work. The demand for grocery goods is increasing in her area, so she is requesting a loan of NPR 20,000 to buy grocery items to meet the demand.
