Verónica, 40, is married and lives with her husband in her mother’s home, located in a densely populated neighborhood in the south of Lima.
After having worked in her husband’s bakery for 12 years, Verónica started her own business: beauty products sales. She has been in this line of work for two years and is doing very well. For this reason, she spares no effort in using all her energy to walk through the arid areas of her neighborhood, under the intense heat of the sun, to seek out customers.
During fall and winter she also sells cake slices because these snacks are very popular that time of year. To do both activities is quite profitable and the profits have helped her to make improvements to her living space. Her greatest wish for the future is to stock up more beauty products so that she can have all she needs to meet customer demands.
This is her 14th loan with MFP and she pledges to repay in a timely fashion. In addition, she participates harmoniously with her fellow group members because she wants to have access to future loans because they are indispensable to her business.
She will use the requested funds to buy more beauty products as well as ingredients for her pastries because summer is ending.
