A loan helped to buy stock of footwear to sell.

Comfort's story

Comfort is a woman with dreams. She lives in Suhum with her husband and three children. All three children are in school, and she is determined for them to have a good and well-rounded education. She is 38 years old and for the past eight years she has run her own footwear shop. She doubles as a seamstress. Her customers are mostly the general public.

The problem she’s had is she doesn’t have much money to build up her inventory, so some clients aren’t able to get what they want.

With the help of Kiva lenders and Advans, Comfort is asking for a loan so she can buy new and different stock of footwear so she can grow her business and be able to support her children. This is her first loan with Advans Ghana, but she is confident in her repayment ability.

Comfort wants to make a difference in people’s lives, and you can help her!
