Karen Paola is an enterprising 31 year old woman who lives with her husband and son in the municipality of Soledad. She is a multifunctional woman, who because of her culinary abilities, started her business selling "hayacas" (tamales) and cakes, an activity which has generated very good profits.
She also works selling soups on the weekends. Among her culinary menu she offers three meat soups, tripe soup, pea soup, chicken soup, etc. Karen also prepares buffets if there is a request.
This merchant has an experience of 5 years and started this work, because of the need to generate other income for her household. Her main customers are neighbors, friends, relatives and people who are recommended and who taste her good flavor in her delicious meals.
Currently, she is applying to a Credikiva, her first loan with Fundacion Mario Santo Domingo that she will use to buy inputs, such as banana leaves, corn, ground beef, chicken, pork, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, green onions, meats, cassava, potatoes. etc.
This small businesswoman needs a capital injection to strengthen her different businesses. She hopes to be able to fulfill all the orders of the December season, and to improve her family's quality of life. Support her; she will be successful with her new business idea.
