A loan helped to buy saplings of olives to be planted in the ground.

Myasar's story

Myasar is a 51 year-old mother of one son, who lives with her family in a small humble house in a village near Bethlehem. The family has a small plot of agricultural land in the village. All of them work this land where they cultivate different crops based on the season.

Myasar went to Palestine for Credit and Development (FATEN) to request a loan. This loan will help her to buy saplings of olives to be planted in the ground. Myasar's family depends entirely on the land in covering family expenses and providing money for the next planting seasons.

This loan is special because:

It seeks to empower Palestinian women.
