A loan helped to buy vegetable seeds and fertilizer for her farm.

Sokha's story

Sokha is 24 years old, married, and the mother of one child. For the last two years, she has earned a living by planting and selling vegetables. Her main challenge is the effect of the rainy season on her ability to grow and plant crops.

Sokha has applied for a 3,100,000 KHR loan through Kiva's field partner Chamroeun to buy vegetable seeds and fertilizer for her farm. She will use this loan to earn more money, continue her business, and support her family's living standards. In the future, she hopes that she can expand her business and earn enough money to renovate her home and send her child to school.
