This group of people lives in the Las Cruces Sector of the city of Santo Domingo Suchitepéquez. They requested this loan through the ASDIR Association, as all of the group’s members do business in the city center and surrounding areas.
These people sell chickens, fruits, and corn, pork, and even cut hair, all on foot. They saw the need to request this loan in order to be able to maintain sales, harvests, and services and give continuity to their productive activities.
Their desire to improve their livers is very evident, since they presently live in a low economic state and need working capital so that they can increase their sales and make important accomplishments, such as providing for the education and health of their children, which is important for their families’ development.
Two of the ladies shown in the photograph who will not be receiving money from this loan, based on objective criteria from ASDIR.
In this group: Catalina, Gloria, Blanca Mabilia, Angelina, Celestina, Berlin Biby, Eustaquia, Maria Guadalupe
