A loan helped a member to buy perfumes, creams, and makeup.

Talismã Group's story

Nair, the last one in the photo, is the group's leader. She is a widow, has two married children, and lives with her niece. She is very cheerful and content with her life in spite of the fact that when she was younger she lived in poverty. She lived in the northeast and went to Sao Paulo in search of better living conditions.

Nair began to work as a cleaning lady and then began to buy cosmetics for resale. With the assistance of the Banco do Povo, she has been able to always have enough merchandise on hand for prompt delivery to serve her customers well. She dreams of being able to open a store. The loan will be used to buy perfumes, creams, and makeup.

The group is grateful to the investors because the loan helps the borrowers improve their businesses and their quality of life.

In this group: Boas , Nair , Patricia , Fernanda
