A loan helped a member to buy fertilizer for the coffee field.

Ang Nua 08 Group's story

Thoa, 44, is an ethnic Thai woman who is standing first on the right in the photo. She is married and lives with nine family members in a Thai stilt house. She could not read and write because her parents did not enough money to send her to school, so she became engaged in farming work.

Every day, Thoa and her husband work hard on their farm growing rice and coffee and raising pigs and chickens. Recently, she took out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program to buy fertilizer for her coffee field. She hopes that the coffee plants will grow up healthy and fast to bring her great profit, which she looks forward to using to continue investing in next season.

Thoa dreams of creating a warm and happy environment for her children.
