Sean's story

Sean was born and grew up in the Northwest region of Baltimore City and attended great schools such as Grove Park Elementary School, Fallstaff Middle School, Baltimore City College, Maryland Institute College of Art, & Howard University.

Sean is a lifetime artist and had the blessing of having his high school alma mater, Baltimore City College, fund a full, 4 year tuition scholarship for his studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art. While at MICA Sean studied art and culture in Greece, on Full Scholarship! He received my B.F.A.’S in Visual Communication and Printmaking.

After MICA, Sean Ramon Montague graduated from Howard University with a Graduate Certificate in Book Publishing (Full Scholarship).

In 1996, on partial scholarship he studied art and culture in Senegal, Africa!

Sean Montague has always had a love of Black history and culture / African American legacy!

Ethnicitees LLC was founded as Sean Ramon Montague’s artistic and cultural heritage legacy to share with the world and he is very proud of that! In 2019 Ethnicitees LLC is relaunched, reimagined and poised to be bigger than ever before as it strives to bring global recognition for the brand!

The fact that Ethnicitees LLC relaunched and built it’s stores at Security Square Mall and now, is about to launch its new 3,792 sq. Footage store with next to nothing (after the loss of the family home (dad’s medical negligence) and Sean’s wife’s medical crisis, is a testimony to the strength,will and determination!
