A loan helped to buy fertilizers and compost.

Maria Aurelia's story

She lives with her family in the village El Olvido Santa Cruz de Yojoa, and her main work is farming. She currently has various plots that she manages. In addition to her farming income she gets help from her sons who live abroad.

She is asking for a loan to buy fertilizers and compost to obtain better crops. She is certain that this loan will help her crop production.

Her dream is to improve her crops and to give her family a better life.

Peña Blanca - cortes Honduras, October -2019

This loan is special because:

It has a below-market interest rate and is repaid at harvest, when farmers can more easily repay.
