A loan helped a member to buy seed.

Kamuda Makiteko B United Group's story

Agnes is 50 years old, married, and has two children who both attend school in Soroti, Uganda. She grows millet and sorghum while her husband attends to a retail shop for additional income.

Agnes is requesting a loan from VisionFund Uganda to buy seed. Getting ready for a bigger and better season, Agnes thought it wise to buy seed and enlarge her farm for a bigger yield. "With these seeds I will be able to enlarge my farm and also increase my produce and later sell off. And with the income purchase more land to increase my farm since I dream of becoming a commercial farmer," she states.

Agnes is grateful to Kiva for the financial support.
